Open Trades Planned Stop-Risk Resources

Add your planned stop-loss amounts across open trades in one currency.

Several individually small planned losses can add up to a material share of account equity. This worksheet sums the planned loss amounts you have already calculated for each trade and expresses that sum as a percentage of supplied equity. It gives you a visible total for a review of concurrent plans.

Open Trades Planned Stop-Risk Worksheet

Add supplied planned cash losses and compare their total with equity, keeping execution uncertainty visible.

Three hypothetical trades have planned losses of 50, 75 and 25 USD. Their combined planned risk is 150 USD. Against 5,000 USD of equity, that is 3%. The calculation adds the supplied plans; it does not offset one trade against another or promise execution at each stop.

10 Resources for Reviewing Open-Trade Risk

A concurrent-risk review combines your assumptions with trade records and knowledge of stop-order mechanics. The services below can support those pieces, but their documented roles do not establish that your aggregate plan is an enforceable risk limit.

Compare documented roles using own risk assumptions, multiple trade records, stop execution rules, external cash flows, printable review. The Telegram channel we promote is disclosed in the first entry.

Prepare useful inputs

Enter positive equity and nonnegative planned loss amounts, all in one currency. The amount for each trade must come from your own plan. This tool does not size positions, calculate stops from prices, or estimate correlation between assets.

Read results in their proper scope

The total is a planning amount, not a guaranteed loss cap. Gaps, slippage, fees and order behavior can make realized losses different. Changing equity changes the percentage even when the planned currency amounts remain the same.
